PTC Membership

The Saxe PTC is a network of volunteers dedicated to working together with the faculty, staff, and students at Saxe. Connecticut State Requirement for 6th Grade Students

Connecticut State Law requires ALL students to have a physical exam during sixth grade. The CT Health Assessment form needs to be on file in the nurses office by the last day of 6th grade. We accept physicals dated from June 1, 2023. 

Upon completion of the exam, please email or bring the completed CT health assessment record to the lower division health office. Please contact your school nurse, Joelle Graham, with any questions. She can be reached at joelle.graham@ncps-k12.org or at (203) 594-4526.

Full Court Peace: Hansel Documentary

21st Annual Turkey Trot 5K

For over 20 years our community has joined together the Sunday before Thanksgiving to create a fun morning for all, and support Open Doors in Norwalk, CT with a 5k run through Waveny Park. This effort is led entirely by NCHS students, with the support of their families.
Throughout these many years we have succeeded in raising awareness and funds for this important non-profit that serves so many in need. Please join us in signing up HERE.

Filling in the Blanks Holiday Backpacks

As the holiday season approaches, we have a wonderful opportunity to spread joy and make a difference in the lives of children in our community. Study Buddies Tutoring and After School Homework Help

These four high school juniors are passionate about helping kids enhance their educational skills and grow in their learning journey. They offer one-on-one tutoring and after-school homework help for students in grades K-6 at the New Canaan Library in the following subjects: reading, writing, social studies, math, science, French and Spanish. All earnings go towards nonprofit Children Incorporated. Drop your kids off at the New Canaan Library for 30-minute or one-hour sessions. You can enjoy some time to yourself while your kids do their homework properly, learn to study, and get personal help in their chosen subject. Simply sign up on the Google form linked HERE.
