Thank you to everyone who joined our Parenting in the Digital Age Presentation on November 12th. It was great to see the auditorium filled with so many familiar faces. For those of you unable to attend, Scott Driscoll provides a plethora of resources on his website Internet Safety Concepts.

This time of year is a time filled with gratitude, appreciation and thanks.  We are grateful for the Saxe community that helps us to enrich the experience of our Saxe Hawks every day. We appreciate the Saxe administration, teachers and staff who work tirelessly to ensure our children are cared for and prepared for everything to come. Lastly, we are thankful for time spent with family over the upcoming Thanksgiving break. We hope you all are able to reset, recharge and relax with loved ones.

Saxe Intermediate School's 5th and 6th graders are bringing holiday magic to the stage with Elf JR., a musical based on the beloved Christmas movie. PTC Membership

The Saxe PTC is a network of volunteers dedicated to working together with the faculty, staff, and students at Saxe. Our goal is to make the middle school experience rewarding for all by supporting events, online initiatives, and fundraising efforts for Saxe. We’d love to count you among us. No experience is necessary, and there are no extra to-dos. Memberships are annual, and the new school year means new memberships. Connecticut State Law requires ALL students to have a physical exam during sixth grade. The CT Health Assessment form needs to be on file in the nurses office by the last day of 6th grade. We accept physicals dated from June 1, 2023. 

Upon completion of the exam, please email or bring the completed CT health assessment record to the lower division health office. Please contact your school nurse, Joelle Graham, with any questions. She can be reached at joelle.graham@ncps-k12.org or at (203) 594-4526.

Full Court Peace's first-ever short documentary about the world-renown Hansel Enmanuel, the hero from our program in Santo Domingo will be released at the New Canaan Library on November 17th. Join us to hear about the story of the Dominican boy who turned into a global sensation all while beating the odds.

For over 20 years our community has joined together the Sunday before Thanksgiving to create a fun morning for all, and support Open Doors in Norwalk, CT with a 5k run through Waveny Park. This effort is led entirely by NCHS students, with the support of their families.
Throughout these many years we have succeeded in raising awareness and funds for this important non-profit that serves so many in need. Please join us in signing up HERE.
