President's Letter

Dear Saxe parents,

We have made it to the final stretch of the school year and we are so proud of all that our Saxe Hawks have accomplished this year.  Just as the students are preparing for their next grade, the PTC is looking to its new Board as all of the programs and events are being planned for next year.

This has been an amazing two years for Saxe and I am so proud of all that we have done. From Hawk's Court to visits to the Dome, additional Shakesperience programs and integrating Saxe Middle with Saxe Intermediate, it has been a busy and fulfilling time and I can't leave as PTC President without a few necessary thank yous.

  • To the Saxe Community: Thank you for supporting the PTC and allowing us to help enhance the education experience for all students.
  • To the Saxe Board: Naddya Bischoff, Amy Cardillo, Laura Catherwood, Emily Cerone, Jessica Knowles, Lydia Kremer, Vanessa Laverne, Lauren Nussbaum, Remi Salami, Laura Sousa, Beth Stimpson, and Karen Willett, thank you does not seem to come close to be enough for all of the time, effort and energy you have given to the PTC and the Saxe Community. I feel truly lucky to have been able to work with you all and I know that the Saxe PTC is in great hands with those of you continuing.
  • To Principals Granite and Gusitsch: Thank you for always coming from a place of yes and being willing to try new programs and experiences for our Saxe Hawks. Your dedication to the school and Saxe Community is inspiring.

—Jess Huetter, outgoing Saxe PTC co-president
